Sarojini Nagar to get an office of sub-registrar
Lucknow: Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh along with Uttar Pradesh minister Ravindra Jaiswal on Monday performed the bhoomi pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony for a new sub-registrar office building in Sarojini Nagar.
The modern office complex, being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹3.27 crore , is expected to be completed within 12 months and aims to provide citizens with improved, technology-enabled and transparent registry services.

Singh had written to the concerned department seeking land allocation and approval for a sub-registrar office in Sarojini Nagar. He said under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath , the state’s registry system was moving towards greater transparency and modernization.
Highlighting development in Sarojini Nagar, Singh referred to projects such as Aero City, AI City and ₹10,000-crore Anant Nagar project collectively reshaping the region.
Jaiswal said Sarojini Nagar was among the busiest registry offices in the state and credited Singh for first bringing the issue of inadequate infrastructure to govt’s attention.
