Staging the unstageable: Elkunchwar's Eka Natacha Mrutyu comes alive at Rangamandap
Nagpur: Words took a back seat as movement, silence and raw physicality narrated one of Marathi theatre 's most complex works, Eka Natacha Mrutyu (An Actor's Death), at the newly inaugurated Rangamandap on Saturday. Written by veteran playwright Mahesh Elkunchwar , directed by Atul Pethe and performed by Abhay Mahajan, the 65-minute production took intimate theatre into a deeply immersive psychological and metaphysical experience.
