The 4 words that reveal King Charles's true intentions in Prince Harry feud - source
Prince Harry's latest trip to the UK has sparked further speculation about the state of his relationship with his royal relatives, especially his father, King Charles. The 41-year-old arrived in the UK on Monday, with a series of events for the Invictus Games being the primary reason for his trip.
Harry is set to attend the one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham tomorrow, July 10. As well as the state of his relationship with his youngest son, it has been reported that King Charles is eager to build a close bond with his two youngest grandchildren, with the monarch having not seen Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, now aged seven and five, since 2022.
Archie and Lilibet were originally meant to be travelling to the UK with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex this week, however, after the royal's request for police protection was denied, Meghan and their children did not join him.
It has, however, been reported by the Mirror that there have been conversations between the King and Harry in recent weeks, with one source describing the tone, for a meeting with the Sussexes, as "hopeful".
Harry is said to be "frantically" trying to secure extra private security so his family can join him in the UK.
Another source said: "The King would not pass up the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren and if there is a way of making it possible," adding a four-word statement stating, "he will do it".
When it was previously confirmed that they would be joining Harry in the UK, it was reported that Archie and Lilibet were excited about the visit.
Speaking of Harry and Meghan's children, a friend close to the couple has revealed that Archie and Lilibet aren't aware of their royal relatives statues.
They told HELLO!: "The truth is they don't really have any concept about who they [the Royal Family] are."
The friend also shared that Harry and Meghan "are very good at keeping them away from it all so they live as normal little kids".
