US President's daughter Tiffany Trump, husband Michael Boulos visit Jaisalmer Fort, explore royal heritage
JAISALMER: Tiffany Trump , daughter of US President Donald Trump, and her husband, Michael Boulos , visited the world-renowned Jaisalmer Fort , popularly known as Sonar Fort , during their two-day stay in the desert city. Accompanied by US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, the couple explored the historic fort and experienced its rich cultural and architectural heritage.
The distinguished guests entered the fort in a golf cart and travelled from the main entrance to Dussehra Chowk. Upon reaching the Raj Prasad Museum inside the fort, they were warmly welcomed by former Maharawal of Jaisalmer, Chaitanya Raj Singh.
During their visit, the couple toured the Palace Museum, Raj Prasad, the historic Rani Mahal and several other important sections of the fort. They were introduced to Jaisalmer's ancient art, culture, traditional customs and royal heritage.
Heritage expert and former Mr Desert Vijay Ballani accompanied the guests and provided detailed insights into the history of the fort and the traditions of the former princely state. Tight security arrangements were maintained throughout the visit.
Later in the evening, Tiffany Trump and her husband arrived at the historic Sonar Fort in an electric golf cart. At Dussehra Chowk, they were once again received by Chaitanya Raj Singh, who personally accompanied them during the tour. He briefed the guests on Jaisalmer's history, unique architecture, martial traditions and the historical significance of the fort.
