Warzone Season 5 release date, time and patch notes as Drone Labs POI joins Call of Duty
Call of Duty fans are counting down to the release of the Season 5 update in Black Ops 7 and Warzone. Call of Duty Season 5 has a July 23 release date and a 5pm BST UK release time. That's 9am PT / 12pm ET if you live in the US, or 6pm CET for Call of Duty fans playing in Europe.
Needless to say, the new content will be preceded by the release of a big new update, which should be available to download and install ahead of time, or at least that's typically the case for the PlayStation version of the game.
Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops 7 Season 5 contentWhile a lot of the focus has shifted to the upcoming releae of Modern Warfare 4, the good news is that there's still lots of new content coming to Black Ops 7 and Warzone as part of Season 5.
As you can see from the roadmap and patch notes, Warzone fans will be able to check out the Machine of War event, which includes the ability to unlock various rewards by collecting fuel cans across all modes.
Warzone also adds the Drone Labs Point of Interest, which can be found between Quarry, Farms, and east of TV Station. It also includes a unique Armed JLTV that can be unlocked by completing a side quest within Drone Labs.
Over on Black Ops 7, Season 5 adds the Jubilee, Turbo Tilt, Frequency and DIG maps, as well as Gauntlet Rush game mode.
The Battle Pass, meanwhile, add the new Spectre Operator, as well as a variety of skins, multiple weapons and lots more.
