Count Binface is Britain's most persistent intergalactic space warrior and a beloved fixture of UK elections - a man in a bin-shaped helmet who turns serious politics into performance art. Behind the glowing visor and silver cape is Jonathan David Harvey (often called Jon Harvey), a comedian, writer, and producer in his 50s from Croydon.

Mr Harvey has credits on sharp satirical shows like The Thick of It, Have I Got News for You, and Time Trumpet. He's also authored books and worked as a stand-up and broadcaster.
