Xbox down LIVE: Frustrated users unable to play games and sign in amid outage

XBOX users have taken to social media and Downdetector to report a series of issues they are experiencing. Hundreds of reports have been made on Downdetector today by UK users alone, but the problem appears to be affecting people from around the world.

XBOX Support issued a message earlier today, saying they were aware some users were encountering errors when "attempting to sign in, see your game library or launch games". In their latest update, they said: "Just checking in on the game library, sign-in, and game launch issue. We know this has been going on a while and appreciate your patience while our teams keep working on it. Watch here or at http://support.xbox.com for updates."
