The much-awaited entry of Yogi, inarguably BJP's most prominent saffron mascot, could potentially stir up the campaign blitzkrieg planned by the saffron outfit even as it gears up to take on a belligerent opposition in Bihar. The initiation of Yogi's rallies in Bihar comes at a crucial juncture even as campaign momentum in the poll-bound state is set to peak. His entry just weeks before polling, experts said, suggests that the BJP intends to maximise his high-voltage appeal to consolidate Hindu votes besides energising the party cadre.

Known for his unrelenting aggressive poll positioning, primarily centred around Hindutva, Yogi is expected to stir up nationalistic fervour, blending it with his trademark religious-cultural narrative. Sources said that Yogi is expected to tear into alleged corruption-hit past regimes of Lalu Prasad Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress, while highlighting his model of governance, which is credited with bringing him to power for the second consecutive time in the 2022 assembly elections in UP.
