Abrar Reaches Career High In ODI Rankings

Abrar’s rise came after a productive series against Australia in which he regularly troubled batters and collected wickets in low-scoring contests played in Rawalpindi and Lahore. The 26-year-old registered two separate two-wicket hauls during the series, helping him achieve the highest ODI ranking of his career.

Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi also gained ground in the ODI bowling standings. After taking four wickets during the series, he advanced four places to 13th with 593 rating points.

Australia pacer Nathan Ellis recorded one of the biggest jumps among ODI bowlers, moving up 24 spots to 44th after claiming six wickets in two matches.

In the batting rankings, Australian left-hander Matt Renshaw surged more than 100 positions to 78th after scores of 43 and 61 in challenging batting conditions. Josh Inglis climbed three places to 57th, while Cameron Green improved five spots to 63rd.

Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha slipped outside the top ten, falling five places to 14th.

Ravindra Breaks Into Test Top Ten

New Zealand’s comprehensive Test victory over Ireland also produced significant ranking changes. Ravindra’s innings of 121 earned him a rise to ninth position with 737 rating points, marking his first appearance inside the top ten of the Test batting rankings.

Teammate Tom Blundell benefited from his match-high score of 186, climbing eight places to 40th. Ireland seamer Mark Adair re-entered the Test bowling rankings at 24th following his efforts during the match.

New Zealand bowlers Nathan Smith and Blair Tickner also made gains, with Smith jumping 24 places to 59th and Tickner moving nine spots to 54th in the latest Test bowling standings.
