Heartbreaking! Dubai based Indian succumbed after he collapsed while playing cricket

An India-born person living in Dubai has succumbed to a heartbreaking death while playing a routine cricket match in Dubai. The victim, named Mohammed Safwan Shanu, lived in Dubai for the last 15 years and has his usual routine, playing cricket before collapsing on the ground.

 

According to reports, the incident happened on Sunday morning around 7 am; he was initially given CPR on the field by his teammates. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

 

What happened to Mohammed Safwan Shanu?

 

Speaking to a local news outlet, Khaleej Times, a friend of Mohammed Safwan Shanu, Safwan Nabeel Karikal, informed that he noticed no abnormalities in his friend. Shanu had his usual routine.

 

They met on Saturday evening and went to buy fish and groceries from the Waterfront Market. They even travelled in the same car together on Sunday morning to the cricket field. Karikal said,

 

“We play cricket every Sunday morning, and this has become our routine for years. On Saturday evening, we went to the Waterfront Market to buy fish and groceries. He was perfectly fine. The next morning, we even travelled together in the same car to the ground, and everything was normal."
