'Well Done Legend': David Warner Hails Arafat Minhas After Record Five-Wicket Haul on ODI Debut vs AUS
Former Australia opener David Warner has sent praise for Pakistan all-rounder Arafat Minhas following the Pakistan star's exceptional performance on his ODI debut against Australia in Rawalpindi. The young all-rounder had a match-winning impact as Pakistan took the first ODI of the three-match series on May 30.
Pakistan's 1-0 lead is due to a fine display with the ball and Minhas has now cemented his place in Pakistan's cricket folklore. Sharing the dressing room with several exciting young prospects during his distinguished international career, Warner caught the eye of the young Pakistan player and sent him well wishes just after the game via social media.

Warner posted a photo of the Pakistan star on his Instagram story and congratulated the all-rounder for making his international bow.
"Well done legend," wrote Warner, whilst responding to a photo of the 18-year-old all-rounder on social media. His message was quickly shared among the Pakistan fans who praised the Aussie veteran for congratulating their team-mate.
The Pakistan star now had reasons to celebrate having instantly made a huge impact at the international level, with the left-arm spinner troubling the Aussie batting order in a spectacular opening debut to his ODI career, which is arguably one of the greatest ODI debuts ever by a Pakistani bowler.

Arafat Minhas Creates Pakistan Cricket History
Youngster, the 21 year old took match winning figures of 5/32 from his 10 overs, bowling out Australia for 200 in 42.3 overs at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Those figures made Minhas the first Pakistani bowler to pick up a fifer on ODI debut, he also produced the best ever bowling figures for Pakistan in their maiden ODI.
His bowling kept the Australian batsmen under pressure and led Pakistan restrict the visiting nation for under-par scores.
Pakistan then completed a simple run chase finishing on 204/5 in 42.3 overs. Former skipper Babar Azam scored an unbeaten 69 runs from 94 balls including 4 fours and a six.
Ghazi Ghori supported with a solid 65 from 92 balls including 8 fours.
Pakistan now lead the 3-match ODI series and Arafat Minhas will remember the debut for life, the second two matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on June 2 and June 4 respectively where Pakistan will look to claim the series, and Australia will want to bounce back and level the series.
