'1.66 cr records scraped': Class 12 student Sarthak Sidhant, who flagged CBSE tender discrepancies, launches public portal on govt procurement
Class 12 student Sarthak Sidhant , who recently drew national attention over his analysis of CBSE's digital evaluation tender, on Friday, launched a government procurement portal after scraping around 1.66 crore records from the government's Central Public Procurement (CPP) Portal.
"Transparency needs to be accessible. From today it is," he wrote on X. "Within the past 2 weeks, around 1 crore 66 lakh records were scraped from the government's CPP Portal. The Nation's procurement database is now publicly available to all," he added.

Sidhant asked people to download the database and explore it further. "Download the database and start diving deeper. This is the beginning. More things to come," he added.
Sidhant came into the national spotlight after publishing a detailed blog examining CBSE's On-Screen Marking (OSM) system and official tender documents linked to the digital evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets .
