Cognizant launches Ace Team Program to nurture new generation of AI talent
Global IT services company Cognizant has launched the Ace Team Program, a talent initiative aimed at identifying and developing engineering talent to support clients' digital transformation efforts and advance the company's AI ambitions.
Launched initially in India, the Ace Team will serve as a key part of Cognizant's transition into an AI builder organization.
Under the program, selected engineers will develop niche AI offerings for customers, support large-scale technology initiatives, and help drive innovation across the ecosystem.
The company said candidate selection will be based on technical capability, AI fluency, and communication effectiveness. A multi-stage assessment process will be used to identify engineers capable of building and deploying next-generation AI solutions.
In the first phase, the program is open to existing offer holders and select off-campus candidates, including graduates from Tier-1 institutions, with scope for future expansion.
Ace Team members will join Cognizant as full-stack AI Engineers and work on client engagements from an early stage. Their responsibilities will include working on production codebases and building AI-native capabilities such as RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM-integrated applications across industries.
