CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 exam city slip released, candidates can check allotted city here
CSIR-UGC NET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance examination city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination. The city intimation slip is available on the official CSIR-UGC NET website and can be accessed using the application number and password.
The Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor with admission to PhD, and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges. The agency has clarified that the examination city slip is issued only to inform candidates about the city where their examination centre will be located.

Examination schedule announced
According to the official notice, the examination will begin with Life Sciences on July 17, 2026, from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon. Mathematical Sciences will be conducted on the same day from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm, followed by Physical Sciences during the second shift.
On July 18, 2026, Chemical Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences will be held in the morning shift from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon. The examination will be conducted as per the timetable released by NTA.
