Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan reviewed the preparations of state governments for the NEET (UG) re-examination on Monday, focusing specifically on student convenience, security arrangements, and the integrity of the examination process. He directed all state governments, Union Territories (UTs), and central agencies to ensure strict adherence to security protocols and to guarantee that the examination is conducted flawlessly.

The Union Home Secretary requested states and UTs to facilitate smooth travel for students appearing for the NEET (UG) re-examination. The Chairman of the Railway Board assured full cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Railway Board; Secretaries of the Departments of School Education & Literacy, Higher Education, and Posts; Directors General (DGs) of CRPF, CISF, BCAS, and NTA; as well as senior officials from the Ministries of Defence and Health & Family Welfare.
