Gujarat HSC Science Supplementary result 2026 : The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar, has declared the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Science Stream Supplementary Examination 2026, with the overall pass percentage recorded at 27.36%. The supplementary examination offered students who could not clear the February–March 2026 board examinations another opportunity to earn their Higher Secondary Certificate.

Board data shows that 18,549 candidates had registered for the examination, while 16,120 students appeared. Of these, 4,411 candidates successfully qualified to receive the HSC certificate.

The supplementary examination witnessed participation from thousands of students across Gujarat who sought to improve their board examination outcome.




A Group outperforms B Group
Among the three Science stream groups, A Group recorded the strongest performance with a pass percentage of 32.29%, significantly ahead of B Group, which registered 25.85%. The AB Group reported the lowest success rate at 14.29%, though the number of candidates in this category remained very small.




Girls outperform boys across major streams
The gender-wise analysis reveals that girls achieved higher pass percentages than boys in both A and B Groups. In A Group, girls secured a pass percentage of 35.46%, surpassing boys, who recorded 31.39%. Similarly, in B Group, girls achieved 28.50%, compared with 22.42% among boys.

The AB Group had very limited participation, with two boys qualifying while none of the four girls appearing in the category cleared the examination.
