The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has declared the results for the Class 10 (Secondary) examinations held in April-May 2026. Students who appeared for the exam can now view their results and download their marksheets via the official NIOS website,results.nios.ac.in. The online marksheet will display subject-wise marks. According to data released by NIOS, a total of 1,15,414 students registered for the Class 10 April-May 2026 exams; of these, 1,02,558 appeared for the exam, and the overall pass percentage was recorded at 66.92%. The pass percentage for girls stands at 64.93%, while for boys, it is 66.16%.

First, visit the official NIOS portal at results.nios.ac.in.
Then, click on the link for ‘Secondary (Class 10) April-May 2026 Exam Results’.
Next, enter your enrollment number in the login window.

Click the submit button, and your result will appear on the screen.
Download your scorecard and save it for future reference.

Re-evaluation process open until June 29


Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for the re-evaluation of their answer sheets. According to NIOS guidelines, applications for re-evaluation can be submitted online through the student portal within 15 days of the result declaration. The deadline for applying is June 29, 2026. Through the re-evaluation facility, students can request a reassessment of their answer sheets. Please note that applications submitted after the stipulated deadline will not be considered; therefore, timely application is essential. 

How to apply:

To apply, students must log in using their enrollment number and password and navigate to the 'Examination Services' section. Next, they should select the re-evaluation option and choose the specific subjects for which they wish to request re-evaluation. Finally, pay the prescribed fee online and submit the application. After submitting the application, students are advised to download and save a copy of the acknowledgment receipt.
