Re-NEET answer key 2026: When will NTA release provisional key? Here's what we know so far
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is expected to release the NEET answer key 2026 on the official website, nta.neet.ac.in, soon. Previously, the answer key was released on May 6 for the exam conducted on May 3. Following similar trends, the Re-NEET provisional answer keys can be expected by the end of this week, by 28th June 2026.
The re-test had been held on June 21 in 5,440 test centers across India and 14 test centers abroad. Now, since the test has already been held, students would be eagerly waiting for the provisional answer key and the response sheet.

Re-NEET answer key 2026 expected soon
However, despite the fact that there have been no official announcements about the dates of release of the Re-NEET Answer Key from NTA, past experiences give some clues on the probable time frame of the event.
Historically, the authority announces the provisional answer key a couple of days after announcing the results of the examination. By past experiences and the examination cycle of this year, it can be safely assumed that the provisional answer key will be released three or four days after the results announcement. Therefore, the candidates can hope that the Re-NEET UG 2026 answer key will be released by the end of this week.
Once released, candidates will be able to access the answer key on the official NEET portal and compare their responses with the officially provided solutions.
Challenge window to follow
The provisional answer key will not be the final version. As per standard procedure followed by NTA, there will be an opportunity for the candidates to raise objections against those answers which they think to be wrong.
