UGC NET June 2026 admit card: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially finalized the schedule for the UGC NET June 2026 examination, with the admit cards set for release by 15 June 2026. Following the completion of the application correction window on 28 May 2026, over 10 lakh registered candidates are currently preparing for the nationwide eligibility test. The exams will take place between 22 June and 30 June 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

Official Exam Schedule and Core Stats
The NTA will conduct the examination across two daily shifts:

• Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Shift 2: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The 3-hour (180 minutes) non-stop test comprises two papers with objective-type, multiple-choice questions.

To accommodate the massive influx of applicants, the NTA has added four new regional centers in the North Eastern Region across Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya. Furthermore, this session marks the debut of two new academic subjects—Forestry and Statistics—expanding the exam to a total of 87 unique disciplines.
