The Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) has announced the schedule for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 examination 2026. Candidates appearing for the exam can check the schedule on the official website, upsc.gov.in.

Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. Click on the UPSC CDS II Exam 2026 schedule link on the homepage. The exam schedule will appear on the screen. Check the date and shift timings. Download the schedule and keep a copy for future reference.

UPSC CDS 2 admit card 2026
Eligible candidates will be issued an e-Admit Card on the last working day of the week before the examination. The admit card will be available for download on the official UPSC website.
Candidates should note that the admit card will not be sent by post or email. They will have to download it from the Commission's website.
UPSC CDS 2 exam 2026: Important instructions
Candidates must use only a black ballpoint pen to write and mark answers on the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) answer sheet. Pencils and ink pens are not allowed.
Candidates should also carefully fill in details such as their roll number and Test Booklet Series Code. Any mistake or omission while filling or encoding these details may lead to rejection of the answer sheet.
The CDS 2 exam will also have negative marking. Candidates will lose marks for incorrect answers in the objective-type question papers.
