UPSSSC rolls out One-Time Registration system to simplify PET; here's how it works
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission ( UPSSSC ) has introduced a One-Time Registration (OTR) system to make the application process easier for candidates appearing in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) and other recruitment examinations.
The new facility is available free of cost and is aimed at reducing the need to fill in the same details every time candidates apply for a government recruitment exam.

Although the OTR system is new for UPSSSC examinations, similar registration systems are already used for several government recruitment exams conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), State Public Service Commissions (State PSCs), and other state recruitment boards.
What is the UPSSSC OTR system ?
Under the new system, candidates need to register and submit their personal details only once. After an OTR number is generated, the same information will automatically be used for future UPSSSC recruitment applications.
To complete the registration, candidates will have to verify their mobile number and email address. They will also need to provide details such as their name, parents' names, date of birth, category, address, and educational qualifications.
