Aamir Khan to Tie the Knot with Gauri Spratt in Private Wedding on July 5
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is preparing to begin a new chapter in his personal life. According to reports, the actor will marry Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony on July 5, keeping the celebrations strictly private.
Gauri Spratt, who has largely stayed away from the spotlight, is also a mother to a seven-year-old child, as per reports. The relationship came into public view only recently, although Aamir had been quietly connected with her for some time.
The actor first introduced Gauri to the media during his 60th birthday celebrations last year. At the event, he also revealed that she is associated with his production house, giving a rare glimpse into their professional as well as personal bond.
Before making his relationship public, there were already quiet industry whispers suggesting that Aamir was seeing someone outside the film world. Known for keeping his private life extremely guarded, the actor later admitted he had managed to keep the relationship away from public attention for nearly 18 months.
He even shared a light moment with the media, saying, "Dekha kuch bhi pata nahi chalne diya maine tum logo ko" (See, I did not let you get wind of this." He also explained how distance helped them stay out of the spotlight: "For one, she lives in Bangalore, or lived there until recently. So I would fly down to meet her, and the media scrutiny is less there. So we stayed under the radar."

Gauri Spratt hails from Bengaluru, where she spent most of her life. She is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who once owned a salon in the city.
Her academic background includes studies at Blue Mountain School, followed by a fashion-related course, FDA Styling & Photography, at the University of the Arts London in 2004. As per her LinkedIn profile, she is currently running a BBlunt salon in Mumbai, balancing her professional work along with family responsibilities.

In 2005, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao, whom he met during the making of Lagaan (2001), where she worked as an assistant director. The couple parted ways in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son Azad, who was born via surrogacy.

"I am very lucky that I met Gauri, and our relationship started together. She is great; I feel at peace with her. Although my relationships with (ex-wives) Kiran (Rao) and Reena (Dutta) were also very deep, things didn't work out. When you asked, I felt that I am very blessed that Gauri entered my life. We are very happy together. Mujhe lagta hai ab main jaake mukammal hua hoon (I feel complete today)," he shared.
Over the past year, the couple has also been seen together at select public events, including the Macau International Comedy Festival in China, gradually making their relationship more visible before confirming this next big step.
