Ryan Reynolds Confirms New Deadpool Movie Is in Development

People who love Marvel have something to be excited about. Ryan Reynolds has said that another Deadpool movie is being made. This puts an end to months of wondering if it would happen. Ryan Reynolds, who plays the crazy Wade Wilson said he is working on the character's next movie. However he did not say when it would come out or what the title would be.

The announcement comes after the massive success of Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), which became one of Marvel Studios ' biggest box-office hits and successfully introduced Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing R-rated film in history at the time of its release.

Ryan Reynolds Hints at a Different Role for Deadpool

While confirming that another film is on the way, Reynolds also hinted that the upcoming project may not follow the traditional solo Deadpool formula.

Ryan Reynolds said that there's stuff coming. He also said that Deadpool might not be the main character in the next movie. Instead he might be a supporting character. Ryan Reynolds has said before that Deadpool works best when he is with big characters. This allows his funny humor to work well with the characters.

Even though people are already calling it Deadpool 4 Marvel Studios has not said if the project will be a sequel or a new movie with Deadpool and other Marvel heroes.
