Dhurandhar Returns With Extra Footage

One of the most talked-about releases this week is Dhurandhar (Raw & Undekha), which arrives with additional footage in its OTT version.

The spy thriller follows Mission Dhurandhar, described as India’s first espionage operation. The story centres on IB Director Ajay Sanyal, played by R Madhavan, who recruits death-row inmate Jaskirat Singh Rangi, portrayed by Ranveer Singh, for a covert mission in Karachi.

Operating under the identity of Hamza Ali Mazar, the protagonist infiltrates the Lyari gang led by Rehman Dakait. As the mission deepens, the narrative introduces multiple dangerous characters including ISI agent Major Iqbal and disgraced police officer Chaudhary Aslam.

The film also features Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt in important roles.

Ladies First Brings A Gender-Reversal Comedy

Another major release this week is Ladies First, a comedy built around reversed gender dynamics.

The story follows Damein, played by Sacha Baron Cohen, a self-proclaimed ladies’ man who suddenly finds himself in a parallel world dominated by women. His life changes dramatically as he struggles to adapt to the new social structure.

The film pairs him opposite Rosamund Pike, who plays his assertive boss Alex. The unusual pairing and satirical tone have already generated curiosity among viewers.

The supporting cast includes Charles Dance, Emily Mortimer and Richard E Grant.

Courtroom Drama System Focuses On Justice And Ambition

Courtroom thriller System explores legal battles mixed with personal ambition and hidden motives.

The series stars Sonakshi Sinha as public prosecutor Neha Rajvansh, who forms an unlikely partnership with courtroom stenographer Sarika Rawat, played by Jyotika.

Together, they work through a series of high-profile cases while uncovering uncomfortable truths about power, justice and personal ethics.

The show also features Ashutosh Gowariker in a prominent role.

Family Comedy And Crime Thrillers Join The List

Malayalam family rom-com Madhuvidhu adds a lighter tone to this week’s OTT slate. The story follows bachelor Amrut Raj, played by Sharaf U Dheen, whose marriage to Sneha creates tension within the family amid interfaith challenges and emotional pressure.

The film blends romance, humour and family conflict while exploring the realities of married life.

Meanwhile, crime thriller Warrant presents a darker narrative. The series revolves around timid constable Koattai Karuppusami, whose years of humiliation eventually transform him into a feared enforcer solving long-forgotten cases.

However, his growing power brings legal and moral consequences after a custodial death changes the course of his life.

International Content Expands This Week’s Streaming Choices

International viewers also have several new options this Friday.

Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie expands the popular children’s series into a live-action adventure. The story follows Gabby as she embarks on a rescue mission after her magical dollhouse falls into dangerous hands during a trip to Cat Francisco.

The film stars Kristen Wiig and Gloria Estefan.

K-drama fans can also look forward to Fifties Professionals, an action-comedy series about three former professionals forced to return to action after years of exile on a remote island.

Featuring Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se and Heo Sung Tae, the series combines humour, mystery and emotional storytelling.
