Beyond her remarkable acting prowess, she is revered as a trendsetter in the realm of fashion, consistently dazzling her fans with her distinctive style. Her social media presence is a delightful tapestry of candid snapshots and memorable moments. True to form, Mouni Roy recently sent the internet into a frenzy with a cascade of alluring photographs, once again reaffirming her status as a sensation.
This past Saturday, Mouni Roy delighted her Instagram followers with a peek into her vacation escapades. The series of snapshots showcased the Naagin actress showcasing her stunning physique in a floral bra paired with denim shorts, all while reveling in a serene waterfall pool. Additional images captured Mouni exuding relaxation as she lounged by another pool, adorned in a sizzling bikini. Accompanying the post was a playful caption, “Don’t go chasing waterfalls!!!!!!!! Me: ♀️♀️.”
Mouni Roy's journey in the entertainment industry has been nothing short of remarkable since her television debut in Ekta Kapoor’s iconic show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. However, it was her role in the hit series Naagin that truly catapulted her to stardom. Transitioning seamlessly to Bollywood, she marked her debut alongside Akshay Kumar in the film Gold in 2018. Continuing to grace the silver screen, she garnered attention for her role in Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious project, Brahmastra, last year. Further showcasing her versatility, Mouni recently appeared in the music video 'Dotara' alongside Jubin Nautiyal, captivating audiences with her charm. Her foray into the digital realm was equally notable with her presence in the web-series Sultan of Delhi. Wrapping up her recent ventures, she dazzled viewers in the Emraan Hashmi-starrer Showtime, leaving an indelible mark with her talent and grace.
In a recent interview, Mouni revealed that projects like Sultan of Delhi and Brahmastra have been pivotal in reshaping how people perceive her as an actor. Reflecting on her career trajectory, she expressed to Indian Express, “Brahmastra was absolutely different. When you see Gold, RAW and Made In China, I had played very Indianised characters. Maybe after Naagin and Sati, people could only see me as a ‘saree-clad Indian character’. So, for Milan sir to think of me as this cabaret dancer Nayantara, at a time when Brahmastra had not even released. I think it is an exciting time to be an actor where makers can visualise you in different roles. Such great parts are being written. I really feel fortunate to be offered these parts and be able to play them on screen."
