Jimin Honored As Elite Soldier During Military Service
BTS member Jimin ’s military service is making waves online after a recent update. On October 7th KST, a photo of Jimin smiling alongside fellow soldiers surfaced, drawing attention from fans worldwide. Since enlisting in June 2024, Jimin has showcased remarkable dedication, earning an early promotion and the prestigious Division Commander’s Award for being the best trainee.
In a heartfelt message to ARMY, Jimin shared, “It’s been a little over a month, and while sometimes it feels long, having Jungkook by my side makes time pass quickly. We stay in touch with the other members through public phones, and Jungkook is also working hard in the military. We rely on each other and give each other strength.”
Both Jimin and Jungkook enlisted in December 2023 and are currently serving in the 5th Infantry Division’s artillery brigade. Their service is set to conclude on June 11, 2025. With several members of BTS fulfilling their military obligations, the group plans to reunite once all members have completed their duties.
