Introduction to Ladli Laxmi Yojana

Scheme Benefits

• An Assurance Certificate of Rs. 1,18,000 is issued in the girl's name.
• Specific amounts are disbursed as the girl advances in her education:

1. Class VI: Rs. 2,000
2. Class IX: Rs. 4,000
3. Class XI: Rs. 6,000
4. Class XII: Rs. 6,000

• If the girl remains unmarried until 18, she receives Rs. 1 lakh at age 21.
• Additionally, Rs. 200 per month is provided during her education from class XI to XII.

Eligibility Criteria

To benefit from the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, the following criteria must be met:

• The girl must be born on or after January 1, 2006.
• Registration at the local Anganwadi center is required.
• Parents must be state natives and non-taxpayers.
• Applications should be submitted within one year of birth, with extensions possible under special circumstances.
• Benefits apply to two girls per family, with provisions for twins.
• The scheme is for families below the poverty line.
• Orphaned girls can benefit if adopted and properly documented.

Required Documents

Applicants need to provide:

For online applications, documents must be in specific formats (jpg, jpeg, png, gif) and within the size limit of 40 KB to 200 KB.

Application Process

Online Application:

1. Visit mp.gov.in and select "Apply."
2. Agree to the self-declaration and proceed.
3. Fill out the form carefully and save it.
4. Attach scanned copies of required documents and submit.

Offline Application:

1. Obtain the application form from Anganwadi centers, Gram Panchayat, or Municipal Corporations.
2. Submit the completed form and documents to the registration center at the Lok Seva Kendra.

Once approved, the benefits are directly transferred to the applicant's bank account.
