For EPF (Employees’ Provident Fund ) subscribers looking to update their account information, the process can now be conveniently done online, eliminating the need for physical forms.
Previously, subscribers were required to submit a joint declaration form, duly signed by the employer. However, this process has been streamlined, allowing for online submission and completion.
EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation) has introduced a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to facilitate online form filling, enabling subscribers to make 11 types of changes, including name, gender, date of birth, parent's names, marital status, and Aadhaar details.

- Submit the request, which will then be forwarded to your employer for approval.

- Enter the employer ID and navigate to the member tab.
- Select the 'Joint Declaration' change request.
- Review the records and either accept or reject the request accordingly.
- Once approved, the request is sent to the EPFO for processing.
