Gold prices witnessed a notable surge in India on February 24, reflecting strong market trends. The yellow metal saw an increase of around Rs 100, with 22-carat gold priced at Rs 80,550 per 10 grams and 24-carat gold at Rs 87,870 per 10 grams in Mumbai.
Silver prices also gained momentum, reaching Rs 1,01,000 per kg in the spot market across major cities. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold traded slightly higher at Rs 86,098 per 10 grams, while silver stood at Rs 96,290 per kg in the morning session.
