Himachal Pradesh Schools Shut in Four Districts as IMD Issues Red Alert for Heavy Rain

The districts that were affected include Kangra, Mandi, Solan and Shimla. The local government told all schools to stop classes for the day. According to the weather department, the state is likely to witness intense rainfall between July 18 and July 23, with July 20 and 21 expected to experience the heaviest downpours in the mid-hill and adjoining low-hill districts.
