Iltija booked for 'assaulting' cop; PDP says she was manhandled
SRINAGAR: J&K Police registered an FIR against PDP ’s Iltija Mufti , accusing her of assaulting a police officer during the party’s protest against the abrogation of Article 370 on Tuesday, an officer said.
Iltija has been booked under sections 121, 132 and 191 of BNS that relate to assaulting public servants and rioting. Police have also named her mother, former CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti , for allegedly violating restrictions.
