India posts strongest QS 2027 result since 2020: 52 institutions

IITs and non-IITs climb QS ranks

Other IITs like Madras (170) and Kharagpur (205) moved up too, while IISc Bangalore reached No. 221.
Non-IITs also made waves: Shoolini University broke into India's top 10, and VIT and BITS Pilani saw big leaps.
IISc ranked 21st globally for research citations, and six Indian institutions landed in the world's top 100 for employer reputation, led by IIT-Bombay at No. 32.

Overall, India's higher education scene is on a serious rise.
