Train passengers planning a journey in the coming weeks should check their train status before leaving home. The Railways has announced the cancellation and diversion of several trains because of ongoing maintenance and infrastructure improvement work in different sections.
The biggest impact will be seen at Bareilly station, where repair work in the yard area will continue from July 5 to August 3. During this period, a number of trains will remain cancelled, while some services may operate on altered routes.

To reduce inconvenience caused by the cancellations, the Railways has decided to attach additional coaches to several trains.
Extra sleeper and general coaches will be added to services operating on the following routes:

Track strengthening work is also underway on the Gaura-Suvansa-Badshahpur-Nibhapur-Janghai section under Northern Railway's Lucknow Division.
A non-interlocking block will be in effect from June 23 to June 30, leading to the cancellation and regulation of several train services.

According to the Railways: - Bareilly–Lokmanya Tilak Express will remain cancelled on July 11, 18, 25 and August 1.
- Bareilly–Ujjain Express will not run on July 8, 15, 22 and 29.
- Ujjain–Bareilly Express will remain cancelled on July 9, 16, 23 and 30.
- Bareilly–Delhi Express and Delhi–Bareilly Express will stay cancelled from July 5 to August 3.
