IRCTC Unveils Revamped Golden Chariot Luxury Train for 2026–27 Season with Special Discounts
The IRCTC has announced the launch of a newly upgraded Golden Chariot for the 2026–27 tourist season. The train can accommodate a low number of guests of up to 80 across 40 thoughtfully designed cabins, including 13 double-bed cabins, 26 twin-bed cabins, and one specially designed cabin for differently abled travellers.
IRCTC stated that the hospitality services have also been modernised with a professionally trained crew focused on delivering world-class luxury travel standards.
Each journey combines heritage landmarks, wildlife destinations, cultural experiences, and scenic landscapes while ensuring travellers enjoy ample relaxation onboard.
Additionally, guests completing advance payments on or before 30 June 2026 will receive an extra 5% Early Bird discount, which can be combined with the promotional offer and can reduce the costs of this beautiful experience even more.
The package includes onboard meals, selected beverages, guided sightseeing tours in air-conditioned vehicles, monument entry fees, and meals at designated off-board venues as per the itinerary.
