'It does not end in darkness': Sonam Wangchuk visits Rajghat, congratulates youth on protest

NEW DELHI: Climate activist and social reformer Sonam Wangchuk on Monday paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat after being discharged from Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after ending his 26-day hunger strike.

Wangchuk went to Rajghat with his wife, Gitanjali Angmo, before returning to Ladakh. He said he wanted to visit the memorial after ending his hunger strike and movement to remember Gandhi and highlight the relevance of his principles.
