Farmers across Madhya Pradesh have received a fresh financial boost after the state government transferred the latest installment under the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana. On July 27, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the release of the payment during a programme in Khandwa district, with Rs 4,000 credited directly into the bank accounts of 82.70 lakh eligible farmers.
The transfer covers the latest assistance under the state scheme, offering timely financial support during the ongoing Kharif cultivation season. Many beneficiaries have already received confirmation messages from their banks, while others can verify the payment online if they have not yet received an alert.
To verify the payment, farmers need to visit the official portal and select the 'Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana Beneficiary Status' option. They can then enter either their Aadhaar number, bank account details or PM Kisan ID before completing OTP verification. Once authenticated, the payment status appears on the screen.
The same facility is available for farmers who prefer to check the status using only their PM Kisan ID. After OTP verification, the portal displays the latest transaction details linked to the scheme.
Officials have encouraged eligible beneficiaries to explore this facility if they require short-term financial assistance for cultivation.
According to officials, crop insurance can help protect farmers from financial losses arising from adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen events affecting agricultural production.
Farmers have already received dues covering the August-November and December-March periods. However, the installment for the April-July cycle is yet to be released. It is expected that the pending amount could be credited around October or November along with the 17th installment of the CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana.

Crop Insurance Deadline Approaching
Farmers have also been advised to enrol under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana before the July 31 deadline. Under the scheme, eligible cultivators can insure their crops by paying a premium that does not exceed 2% for the notified Kharif crops.According to officials, crop insurance can help protect farmers from financial losses arising from adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen events affecting agricultural production.

While the latest transfer includes the 14th and 15th installments under the CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana , some payments remain pending.
