'Misrepresents statement': MEA fact-checks viral claim on spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal's remarks on CJP protests
NEW DELHI: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Sunday termed as "misleading" a social media post claiming that ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal had said there was no foreign funding behind the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led youth protests in Delhi.
The CJP-led protest, followed by demonstrations in other parts of the country, led to the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET (UG) question paper leak and other related issues.
