'Modiji clocked it': BJP MP's Gen Z-style praise for PM during anti-paper leak Bill debate

NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha member Bansuri Swaraj on Tuesday used a Gen Z term to praise the steps taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi against the paper leak. She said that the PM had "clocked it" with the anti-paper leak Bill, a term used by the younger generation to recognize a fact.

Speaking in favour of the Bill during the debate, she said, "Borrowing Gen Z's language, I would have to say that Modiji clocked it at providing this legislative solution".
