'No protestor left behind': CJP claims Centre assured no FIRs in Bihar and Assam after midnight talks
NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) early Wednesday claimed that the Centre's representatives have shared draft notifications issued by the Bihar and Assam governments assuring withdrawal of FIRs, release of those arrested or detained during the NEET-UG protest agitation, and protection from any future legal action.
In a post on X, CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das said, "Hours after our press conference, Government's representatives met us. The meeting lasted for 2-3 hours. They shared copies of the Bihar and Assam notifications guaranteeing FIR withdrawals, no action in future, and release of all detainees and arrestees."
