'Proud of railways, want to be proud of govt promises too': Sonam Wangchuk hints at pending govt assurances
NEW DELHI: Scientist and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk on Thursday praised the Indian Railways but took a veiled swipe at the Centre, urging it to honour the commitments made to students during the Jantar Mantar protest.
Sharing a video on social media, Wangchuk wrote, "m proud of Indian Railways. Want to be proud of Indian (govt) promises too."
In the video, Wangchuk described the railways as his favourite mode of transport and said he would travel to Ladakh by train. He also praised the Vande Bharat service between Delhi and Srinagar, calling it a pleasant journey.
