Rail connectivity is set to get a boost with the Railway Board approving seven new Amrit Bharat Express services. These trains are aimed at offering a comfortable, modern travel experience at relatively affordable fares, particularly benefiting lower and lower-middle income passengers.
The proposed services will connect several major cities across northern, central, western and southern India. Most of the trains will run weekly, while some routes are planned with broader connectivity.
