'Responsible for brutal assault on innocent students': After Dharmendra Pradhan, opposition turns heat on Amit Shah, seeks resignation

NEW DELHI: The opposition is set to intensify its attack on the government in Parliament on Monday by demanding the resignation of Union home minister Amit Shah over the police action against students protesting the NEET paper leak, CPI(M) Rajya Sabha MP John Brittas said.

Speaking to reporters in New Delhi on Sunday, Brittas said opposition parties would also raise the appointment of Naresh Pal Gangwar as secretary, department of higher education, when Parliament resumes.
