SC issues notice on MoS Suresh Gopi's plea against Kerala HC order

New Delhi | The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a plea by Union minister of state Suresh Gopi challenging a Kerala High Court order refusing to dismiss a petition against his election to the Lok Sabha from Thrissur in 2024.

A bench of Justices P S Narasimha and Alok Aradhe issued notice to Thrissur native Binoy AS, a leader of the All India Youth Federation, who has challenged Gopi's election before the High Court.
