'Sham SIT and bogus FIR': Kejriwal claims real culprits of Ram Mandir donation scam being shielded
NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday accused the BJP of shielding the "real culprits" in the alleged Ram Temple donation embezzlement case.
Referring to the alleged embezzlement of donations made to the Ayodhya Ram Temple, Kejriwal alleged that the investigation was designed to protect those responsible.
"This is a sham SIT and a bogus FIR. The real culprits are being shielded. Why are they being protected?" he asked.
‘Shah didn’t visit temple in 891 days’
Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Kejriwal claimed Union home minister Amit Shah had not visited the temple in the 891 days since it was inaugurated, despite repeatedly referring to Lord Ram and the Ram Temple in his speeches.
"After the construction of the Ram Temple, home minister Amit Shah has not gone even once to bow at the feet of Lord Shri Ram.
