NEW DELHI: Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk is set to be discharged from hospital on Monday, sources said, a day after the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) called off its 36-day-long agitation at Jantar Mantar following the resignation of former Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Wangchuk had been admitted to hospital after his health deteriorated during the prolonged agitation, which demanded accountability over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations and sweeping reforms in the examination system .
