As monsoon conditions strengthen, several regions across the country are likely to witness thunderstorms, gusty winds, heavy rainfall and squalls over the coming days.
Meanwhile, Delhi’s recent spell of pleasant weather is gradually fading, with temperatures expected to rise again this week.
Wind speeds in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh may reach 40-50 kmph, while thundersqualls with gusts up to 70 kmph are likely on June 3 and 4. The weather department has advised residents to remain cautious during intense storm activity.
