Telangana: Three killed in LPG cylinder blast in house

Hyderabad: An elderly woman and her two grandchildren were burnt alive following a cylinder blast in their home in Nalgonda district of Telangana, police said on Friday.

The cylinder blast took place in the early hours when the trio were sleeping in their two-room house at Miryalguda in the district.

Chandramma (50) was staying in the house with her grandson Laxman (17) and granddaughter Pranati (14), police said.

The mother of the children migrated from their native place in search of a livelihood, while their father had died.

The reasons for the cylinder blast were not immediately known.
