Tree falls on parked autorickshaws in south Delhi after heavy rain, drivers escape unhurt

New Delhi : A massive tree fell onto two parked autorickshaws in south Delhi's Shahpur Jat on Tuesday afternoon, damaging both vehicles and causing traffic disruption on August Kranti Marg, police said.

The drivers escaped unhurt as they had stepped away for lunch moments before the incident, they said.

The tree fell around 1 pm near the road leading to Hauz Khas Police Station, after heavy rain earlier in the day.
