'Vile, abusive': Bombay HC orders takedown of fake posts targeting Gadkari over E20 ethanol row

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday granted interim relief to Union minister Nitin Gadkari , directing social media intermediaries, including Meta, to take down defamatory deepfakes , AI-generated images and other posts linking him and his family to the government's E20 ethanol-blending programme . The court described the flagged material as “vile and abusive”.
