The India Meteorological Department ( IMD ) has issued an Orange alert, the second-highest level of warning, indicating the likelihood of heavy rainfall today in Karnataka, Goa, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh.

According to a press release dated June 26, the IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in the following regions:
Additionally, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh are expected to experience heavy rainfall until June 30, with Maharashtra seeing significant precipitation on June 27 and June 28.
